Founder

Bhanvi Sachdeva

Bhanvi is a second-year student at the University of Toronto specializing in Cognitive Neuroscience and Psychology. She is extremely passionate about The Arts and was an integral part of her high school Journalism Club. As the Founder, she is looking forward to a great year working with like-minded people to provide a plethora of opportunities to youth in Canada. 
When she’s not drowning in excessive homework, you can find her playing tennis or League of Legends! One of her proudest accomplishments is reaching Diamond rank in League of Legends. 

Director of Finance

Hanan Ulusow

Hanan Ulusow is a second-year student at the University of Calgary majoring in Civil Engineering. She has always had a love for writing, specifically short fiction, and continued the Humans of Pearson section in the Pearson Press. Outside of school she is also an avid member of the Somali Student Association (SOMSA) and the UCalgary Sparring Club.

Oby Ezeigbo

Oby is a second-year student at the University of Calgary studying Nursing. She was involved in various leadership positions in student run councils throughout high school. She was also a Co-chair and Nursing Representative for two student-led councils in post-secondary. She is passionate about spreading awareness for social and human rights issues affecting minority groups in society. She is a huge advocate for self expression and storytelling especially through art or poetry. Outside of school and extracurriculars, you will find her binge watching a TV series on Netflix or hiking and exploring the great outdoors.

Director of Promotions

Maya Amer

Maya has completed a year in disability studies and is now switching to special events planning. She’s always had a passion for writing stories and hopes to use this platform to raise awareness for social issues not commonly talked about. She organized a successful community event in April 2019 and was a member of many high school and community clubs. In her spare time, you’ll most likely find her baking something delicious or watching K-dramas.

Sharlyne Rafique

Sharlyne is a second year student majoring in Civil Engineering at the University of Calgary. She has a strong passion for mental health and human rights awareness. In highschool, she had a major role in leading the Youth Volunteer Corps club, uniting the school community together to volunteer, spread awareness, and host events where all proceeds were donated to different charities and causes. Her involvement continued into post-secondary as she attended the uCalgary Leadership Conference, and was an active member in Schulich Leadership within the Engineering department. 

In her spare time, you will most likely find her video editing, watching thrillers on Netflix, or eating Sushi.
